Thirty-five years of service as a registered/licensed dietitian has provided me with experience in 28 States, and counting.

My first job was a perfect lay-up for understanding the costs of preventing illness and providing care in the absence of prevention: Prevention is ALWAYS cheaper and enhances quality of life and longevity.

In the years since I have gravitated toward sub-acute and long-term care, and have had the joy of seeing the United States as a travel dietitian, managing nutrition care to prevent weight loss and skin breakdown, and coaching teams on best practices for food safety and quality of care.

In the process I qualified as a paralegal so that I could review evidence and present a credible opinion in court.

LONG TERM CARE NUTRITION CONSULTANT/TRAVEL DIETITIAN
GBiz operates primarily as the provider of consulting services in long term care around the country. In addition to performing clinical care/MDS/care plan for CMS authorized clients, we travel widely to support client operations--oversight and direct care responsibilities in foodservice operations, patient services, and clinical management; and we audit/coach performance of dietitians, catering associates, and front-/back-of-house associates to enhance client satisfaction and strengthen relationships.

As part of its comprehensive nutrition services, GBiz is available as expert witness for cases of weight loss, aspiration, and wounds.
Qualified through both the Academy for Nutrition and Dietetics/Commission on Dietetic Registration and the American Institute on Paralegal Studies, we have experience reviewing documentation in pre-discovery phase for long term care providers and dietitians for cases of weight loss, aspiration, wounds.
